- • Lead and direct clinical site management teams throughout the entire lifecycle of oncology clinical trials, from study initiation to closure.
- • Serve as the primary point of contact between the sponsor and the clinical monitoring team, ensuring seamless communication and alignment on study objectives.
- • Manage all clinical monitoring deliverables to ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and scope, identifying and addressing out-of-scope activities proactively.
- • Oversee the quality and integrity of site monitoring activities, ensuring compliance with ICH-GCP, FDA, and other regulatory standards.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data management, biostatistics, and regulatory affairs to ensure timely and accurate trial execution.
- • Drive site recruitment, retention, and performance improvement strategies specific to oncology trials to meet enrollment targets.
- • Conduct regular site visits and virtual monitoring activities to assess protocol compliance, data quality, and regulatory documentation.
- • Provide mentorship and performance feedback to Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) and other site management staff, fostering professional growth and accountability.
- • Identify operational risks and implement corrective and preventive actions to mitigate delays or quality issues in oncology studies.
- • Maintain accurate and up-to-date trial documentation in CTMS and EDC systems, ensuring audit readiness at all times.
- • Act as the key liaison with sponsors, providing regular updates on trial progress, site performance, and any emerging issues.
- • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills by proposing practical solutions to complex operational challenges in oncology clinical trials.
- • Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer focus when interacting with sponsors, investigators, and internal stakeholders.
- • Ensure all clinical operations activities reflect a patient-centered approach, recognizing the critical impact of trial outcomes on patient lives.
- • Travel up to 30% to support on-site monitoring, site initiation visits, and sponsor meetings as required.
- • Contribute to process improvements and standardization initiatives within Clinical Operations to enhance efficiency and quality across oncology portfolios.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree or Nursing Degree required
- • 2+ years’ experience as a Clinical Trial Manager, Clinical Operations Leader, or Lead CRA
- • 3+ years’ experience as a Clinical Research Associate
- • Required oncology clinical trial experience
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CTMS, and EDC systems
- • Willingness to travel up to 30%
