- • As a Senior Cloud Full Stack Engineer at Humana Inc., you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance software systems that support the company’s mission to improve health outcomes for millions. Your work will directly impact the delivery of healthcare services through robust, cloud-native platforms.
- • On a day-to-day basis, you will lead technical architecture and design, mentor junior engineers, review code, build and maintain RESTful APIs and scalable web platforms using Azure cloud services, and collaborate with business leaders to translate strategic goals into technical solutions. You will also drive innovation by evaluating emerging technologies and ensuring systems are delivered with high quality and on schedule.
- • You will join a dedicated engineering team within Humana’s technology division, working in a hybrid model (three days onsite in Louisville, Dallas, Chicago, or Washington, DC) to support the development of mission-critical healthcare applications. The team values collaboration, autonomy, and continuous learning in a culture focused on innovation and service.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
- • 5 or more years of progressive experience as a senior developer in large IT projects
- • Proficient understanding and tech-lead level experience in one or more programming languages (VueJS, TypeScript, Node.js, Java, etc.)
- • Experience with Spring/Spring Boot
- • Experience with JSON, RESTful web services, and client-server interactions
- • Experience with highly scalable websites and web services (Vue.js, NodeJS, Microservices patterns, Angular, etc.)
- • Knowledge of and experience with Azure or equivalent cloud provider
- • Experience with environment management/orchestration systems (Kubernetes, Docker, AKS, etc.)
