- • Jabil Inc., a global leader in providing comprehensive engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing solutions, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Compliance Specialist to join our dynamic Global Ethics & Compliance organization. This pivotal remote role, based in Mexico, will significantly contribute to upholding Jabil's commitment to integrity, ethical conduct, and regulatory adherence across the entire Americas region, encompassing the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, and Canada.
- • As a Senior Compliance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the development, execution, and management of strategic initiatives that underpin our global compliance program. Your expertise will be instrumental in fostering a culture of ethics and compliance throughout the organization, ensuring that Jabil continues to be a trusted partner for the world's top brands.
- • A core responsibility of this position involves the effective management of a diverse caseload of compliance investigations. This includes meticulously evaluating allegations, developing comprehensive investigation plans, conducting thorough interviews, identifying, obtaining, and critically evaluating relevant data and documentation. You will be tasked with synthesizing complex findings into clear, concise reports and providing well-reasoned recommendations for disciplinary actions and remediation measures.
- • You will leverage your analytical skills to identify, obtain, and analyze financial, operational, and other critical data. This data analysis is essential for both investigating allegations of misconduct and for assessing enterprise-wide risks, enabling proactive risk mitigation strategies.
- • A key aspect of your role will be to collaborate closely with stakeholders across various departments to implement appropriate corrective actions. Furthermore, you will identify and champion opportunities to enhance our compliance-relevant controls architecture, ensuring robust and effective internal controls.
- • You will be responsible for developing and delivering impactful, targeted training programs, both in-person and virtually. These training sessions will be designed to educate employees on key compliance topics, promote ethical behavior, and ensure understanding of Jabil's Code of Conduct and relevant policies.
- • This role requires active participation in eDiscovery related compliance activities. You will be involved in collections, imaging, hosting, processing, and reviewing relevant data, while also driving continuous improvement in our eDiscovery capabilities and the technologies we employ.
- • A significant part of your investigative work may involve performing forensic analysis on technical accounting and financial data. Your ability to delve into financial records and identify irregularities will be critical in resolving complex compliance matters.
- • You will proactively monitor relevant worldwide regulatory changes, meticulously evaluating their potential impact on business operations and existing corporate policies and procedures. Based on this analysis, you will recommend and implement necessary updates to compliance activities and materials, ensuring Jabil remains at the forefront of regulatory compliance.
- • Close partnership with Human Resources and other internal investigation groups is essential. You will collaborate to ensure the comprehensive and timely investigation and closure of all compliance issues, maintaining a consistent and fair approach.
- • You will also collaborate with Internal Audit as needed, reviewing audit reports, discussing corrective action plans, and contributing to the development of future audit plans, fostering a synergistic approach to risk management.
- • A crucial responsibility will be conducting appropriate M&A compliance risk assessments and due diligence. You will play a key role in integrating acquired entities into Jabil’s existing global ethics and compliance program, ensuring a seamless transition and consistent adherence to Jabil's standards.
- • In all your responsibilities, you will be expected to identify and execute effective deliverables to brief and engage senior leadership, providing them with clear insights and actionable recommendations.
