- • Lead complex Red Hat Consulting engagements, owning the full project lifecycle from design and architecture to successful implementation of OpenShift solutions.
- • Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor for Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) at client sites, addressing strategic IT needs and resolving complex technical challenges.
- • Design and implement sophisticated OpenShift environments that integrate with customer infrastructure, including networking, storage, security, and identity management systems.
- • Mentor and guide customer teams on containerisation best practices, application deployment strategies, and OpenShift administration techniques.
- • Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows using tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, ArgoCD, and Tekton to automate application delivery and ensure consistent deployments.
- • Produce high-quality technical documentation including architecture designs, operational runbooks, and project reports tailored for both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
- • Provide hands-on technical leadership for OpenShift upgrades, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and system optimization in production environments.
- • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders on progress, dependencies, and potential issues.
- • Champion continuous learning by staying current with the latest Red Hat OpenShift features, cloud-native technologies, and industry trends in hybrid-cloud computing.
- • Apply advanced knowledge of Kubernetes core concepts including pods, services, deployments, and operators to design scalable, secure, and highly available container platforms.
- • Utilize scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, and Ansible to streamline operations and enhance system reliability.
- • Deliver onsite consulting services in Adelaide, Australia, requiring physical presence at client locations for project delivery.
- • Maintain compliance with Australian government security requirements, including holding NV2 or above security clearance.
- • Ensure all solutions adhere to enterprise-grade standards for availability, scalability, and security in hybrid-cloud environments.
- • Act as a technical liaison between Red Hat and customer teams, translating business objectives into technical architectures and operational workflows.
