- • We are seeking a Senior Consultant (m/w/d) Omnissa Horizon / VDI to join our team in Mainz/Remote.
- • As a seasoned consultant, you will support our customers in implementing modern digital workplace strategies based on Omnissa Horizon.
- • Your key responsibilities will include planning, designing, and implementing Omnissa Horizon environments (On-Premises, Hybrid, and Cloud), providing guidance and support for migrating existing VDI platforms to Omnissa Horizon, conducting workshops, technical assessments, and proof-of-concepts, and integrating Horizon with adjacent technologies like vSphere, NSX, App Volumes, and DEM.
- • You will also analyze and optimize existing environments regarding performance, scalability, and security, create architecture concepts, technical documentation, and operation handbooks, and collaborate closely with project leaders, sales teams, and IT departments of our customers.
- • Additionally, you will take over part-project leadership and provide technical support and troubleshooting in customer projects and operation support.
🎯 Requirements
- • Professional experience, study, or training in the field of IT
- • Several years of experience with VMware Horizon or Omnissa Horizon (VDI, Published Applications, and Blast Protocol)
- • In-depth knowledge of VMware vSphere/vCenter and Windows Server and Client operating systems
- • Experience in working with Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPO), DNS, and PKI in VDI environments
- • Good knowledge of network concepts, particularly in the area of Unified Access Gateway (UAG), Load Balancing, and Firewall rule sets
- • Strong customer and consulting orientation, as well as experience in conceiving and implementing technical solutions
- • Analytical thinking, good communication skills, and a quick understanding
- • Fluent German language skills (at least C1) and good English language skills (at least B2)
- • Willingness to undertake occasional business trips as part of customer assignments
