📋 Description

• Senior Content Specialist role focused on being the native French voice for Lightspeed Restaurant across French, Swiss, and Belgian markets, directly shaping brand authority, media visibility, SEO growth, and commercial impact as a strategic content partner to PR, Product, SEO, Sales, and regional marketing teams.
• Owning development and localization of high-quality French content across campaigns, product launches, PR, partnerships, social media, and sales materials; creating and managing SEO-optimized website content; leading regional SEO initiatives with keyword research and agency collaboration; interviewing customers and partners for case studies and video scripts; applying product understanding to drive awareness and upsell opportunities; leading editorial planning for French-speaking markets aligned with marketing roadmaps; maintaining unified brand voice and editorial standards across platforms; leveraging AI tools to enhance content creation and scale output; developing deep audience and industry knowledge for insight-led storytelling; providing editorial guidance, proofreading, and feedback to ensure team-wide consistency and quality.
• Joining Lightspeed’s dynamic in-house content team within a company founded in 2005 in Montreal’s LGBTQ+ village, built on an ethos of inclusion, now dual-listed on NYSE and TSX, serving merchants in over 100 countries across retail, hospitality, and golf sectors through a unified commerce platform that simplifies, scales, and enhances customer experiences.

🎯 Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in French (from France) with exceptional storytelling, editing, and conceptual thinking skills
• 4+ years of experience in SaaS marketing, journalism, or branded content roles
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated SEO expertise including keyword research, content briefing execution, and on-page optimization best practices
• Experience creating quality content across multiple marketing channels supporting brand positioning, product launches, campaigns, and sales initiatives
• Strong storytelling and copywriting skills with experience writing PR articles, bylines, and sponsored media content
• Strategic mindset to align content with business goals, regional market needs, and measurable performance outcomes
• Collaborative spirit with ability to work across teams while independently driving high-priority projects to completion
• Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress and Hootsuite, and SEO tools such as Ahrefs or Semrush
