📋 Description
- • As a Senior Controller (m/w/d) at Public Cloud Group (PCG), you will step into a pivotal role within our dynamic and rapidly expanding organization. This position is ideal for an experienced finance professional looking to make a significant impact during a transformative period, as we integrate various entities into a cohesive and powerful unit. You will be instrumental in shaping the controlling landscape of a modern corporation, elevating our financial operations to the next level.
- • You will collaborate closely with your colleagues in the Controlling team and the broader, nationally networked Finance team. Your role will extend to acting as a trusted sparring partner for various business units, translating complex financial data into actionable strategic recommendations. A key focus will be on leveraging a high degree of automation to ensure we effectively meet and exceed our ambitious growth objectives.
- • This role offers unparalleled flexibility, allowing you to define your optimal working environment. Whether you prefer a Mac, Windows, or Linux operating system, and whether you wish to work from home, a co-working space, or one of our offices across Germany, you have the autonomy to choose the setup that maximizes your productivity and aligns with your personal life.
- • Your core responsibilities will encompass the meticulous coordination of the annual budget creation process and the ongoing forecast procedures throughout the fiscal year. This involves working with various stakeholders to gather accurate data, challenge assumptions, and ensure the financial plans are robust and aligned with strategic goals.
- • A significant part of your role will involve the development and enhancement of our reporting infrastructure, with a particular emphasis on utilizing Power BI. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and refining dashboards and reports that provide clear, insightful views into the company's financial performance, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- • You will also play a crucial role in the continuous improvement and evolution of LucaNet, a key tool for our planning and consolidation processes. This includes identifying opportunities for optimization, implementing new functionalities, and ensuring the software effectively supports our financial management needs.
- • A critical function will be the thorough analysis of variances between planned (Soll) and actual (Ist) financial figures. This involves deep dives into the root causes of deviations, identifying trends, and proactively flagging potential risks and opportunities to management and relevant business units.
- • You will serve as a competent Business Partner to the various operational and strategic departments within PCG. This involves understanding their financial needs, providing expert advice, supporting their decision-making processes with financial insights, and fostering a collaborative approach to financial management.
- • Furthermore, you will provide essential support in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, adhering to both German GAAP (HGB) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). This requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and the ability to ensure accuracy and compliance in financial reporting.
- • This role is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of a growing cloud-focused company, leveraging your financial expertise to drive performance and support sustainable growth. You will be part of a forward-thinking team that values innovation, collaboration, and individual contribution.
