- • Own and steward Tilt’s brand voice across all customer touchpoints, ensuring every piece of writing is clear, human, and unmistakably Tilt.
- • Write high-impact brand and campaign copy that balances cleverness with authenticity, warmth with precision, and simplicity with depth — avoiding clichés and overwrought language.
- • Lead the development of long-form narrative content, including brand stories, campaign narratives, and scripts that build emotional connection, trust, and clarity with audiences.
- • Create performance-driven copy for direct response channels including ads, email, and mobile prompts that convert through plain, everyday language without sacrificing brand voice.
- • Conceptualize and execute full campaign platforms from central creative ideas to executional details across digital, social, and product interfaces.
- • Design and refine AI-assisted copy workflows by developing prompts, style guides, and frameworks that maintain brand consistency while enabling scalable, high-quality output.
- • Collaborate directly with designers, marketers, and product teams to ensure language and visual elements move in unison, enhancing overall creative impact.
- • Shape and elevate creative standards across the marketing organization by reviewing work, mentoring peers, and establishing best practices for writing quality and consistency.
- • Translate complex financial concepts into accessible, emotionally intelligent language that makes customers feel seen, respected, and confident.
- • Bring strategic depth to brand identity initiatives, having led or contributed to rebranding or brand positioning projects that redefine how a company speaks to its audience.
- • Demonstrate fluency in writing across formats — from 12-word taglines to 1,200-word brand manifestos — selecting the right length and tone for the context and goal.
- • Navigate real-world creative constraints including deadlines, stakeholder feedback, and cross-functional priorities without compromising creative integrity or voice.
- • Present creative rationale clearly and persuasively to teams and leadership, making others feel the necessity and rightness of a linguistic choice, not just understand it.
- • Act as a systems thinker, identifying patterns in successful writing and translating them into reusable tools, guidelines, or processes that empower broader team productivity and consistency.
- • Maintain a distinctive, authentic writing style that is instantly recognizable, avoiding formulaic or generic approaches while remaining grounded in real human experience.
- • Balance creative ambition with performance accountability, ensuring all messaging delivers measurable outcomes without sounding transactional or manipulative.

- • Developed a distinctive, recognizable writing voice with a proven track record in brand storytelling
- • Experience leading brand identity or rebrand projects with deep understanding of voice consistency across touchpoints
- • Demonstrated fluency in both long-form narrative writing and performance-driven direct response copy
- • Proven ability to design and implement scalable copy systems, including AI-assisted workflows and style guides
- • Experience collaborating with designers and cross-functional teams in a marketing or creative environment
- • Agency and/or in-house experience navigating real-world production timelines and stakeholder dynamics
