📋 Description

• Senior Core Engineer role focused on building Walrus, an efficient decentralized storage network at Mysten Labs, contributing to foundational blockchain infrastructure that powers the internet of value.
• Design, implement, and maintain Walrus core components including storage nodes, client software, smart contracts, and toolchains; collaborate with research, cryptography, security, and Sui core teams to ensure network security, performance, and reliability.
• Join a remote-first, world-class team at Mysten Labs, backed by $300M Series B from top-tier investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Jump Crypto, and Binance Labs, dedicated to scaling Web3 for the next billion users.
• Drive complex systems projects from concept to production, deepen expertise in distributed systems and blockchain infrastructure, and contribute to open-source advancements in decentralized storage.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in systems and/or network programming, ideally in Rust, C, or C++.
• Experience designing and developing systems in distributed systems, consensus protocols, storage/database systems, high performance systems, or networking protocols.
• Production experience operating and managing production systems, with proficiency in system monitoring, alerting, and a strong focus on reliability.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven ability to drive complex projects to completion.
