- • As a Senior Corporate Tax Analyst at First American Financial Corporation, you will play a critical role in ensuring tax compliance, supporting financial reporting, and driving process improvements within a Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For® organization with a 130+ year legacy of trust, integrity, and service. - • You will prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns and related filings; analyze tax accounts and reconcile them to the general ledger; resolve tax issues and controversies through applied research; support quarterly and annual financial reporting requirements; assess the business impact of tax law updates and implement process changes; respond to tax authority inquiries and support audits; identify opportunities to improve efficiency, documentation, and internal controls; partner cross-functionally with Accounting, Finance, and external advisors; and provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
- • 6+ years of corporate tax or public accounting (tax) experience
- • CPA or Master of Business Taxation preferred
- • Strong knowledge of federal and state income tax regulations
- • Experience preparing complex tax returns and supporting schedules
- • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- • Experience supporting SEC or public company reporting
- • Familiarity with ERP systems and tax software
