- • Serve as the final quality assurance checkpoint for all outbound creative assets, including copy decks, scripts, captions, and visual assets, ensuring nothing reaches a client or platform without passing rigorous QC.
- • Build and implement the agency’s first dedicated QA function from the ground up, establishing standardized review processes, checklists, SOPs, and pre-flight templates tailored to output type and client tier.
- • Lead compliance validation for regulated client categories—including pet health, supplements, and other high-risk verticals—ensuring all claims adhere strictly to regulatory frameworks such as FDA and FTC guidelines, with zero tolerance for misleading language (e.g., distinguishing “supports” from “cures”).
- • Maintain and update centralized claim libraries, do-not-say lists, and approved phrase banks for each Tier 1 client, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all creative iterations.
- • Own brand compliance across logos, color palettes, typography, and tone of voice, verifying every asset against official client guidelines rather than relying on memory or outdated references.
- • Create and maintain live, accessible brand standards summaries for top accounts to serve as the single source of truth for creative teams, reducing ambiguity and revision cycles.
- • Track, analyze, and report monthly error trends to leadership, identifying recurring issues and recommending workflow improvements to prevent future mistakes before they impact delivery timelines.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, strategy, account management, and project management teams as the calm, constructive QA voice—flagging errors early without becoming a bottleneck or creating defensiveness.
- • Design and implement a tiered client compliance framework (low, medium, high) based on regulatory risk, with differentiated QA protocols for each tier, starting with NutriMax.
- • Anticipate scaling needs by developing a foundation for future QA support roles, including defining coaching structures, onboarding practices, and performance benchmarks for junior proofreaders or QA assistants.
- • Ensure all creative assets meet exact platform specifications for Meta (Facebook, Instagram), TikTok, YouTube, and other digital channels, including formatting, text overlay limits, UI interference avoidance, and aspect ratio compliance.
- • Maintain meticulous organization across multiple simultaneous Tier 1 client accounts, managing parallel compliance requirements, brand standards, and deadlines without compromising accuracy.
- • Proactively identify subtle drifts in messaging or tone between draft versions, preventing regulatory, reputational, or branding risks before final delivery.
- • Document and refine QA systems continuously, transforming ad-hoc reviews into repeatable, scalable processes that become the agency-wide standard.
- • Operate with high autonomy in a remote, outcome-driven environment, prioritizing precision and ownership over supervision or micromanagement.
🎯 Requirements
- • Significant hands-on QA, proofreading, or compliance experience in an agency, regulated industry, or high-volume creative environment
- • A working knowledge of regulatory frameworks for at least one compliance-sensitive category (FDA, FTC, pet health, supplements, finance, or similar)
- • Sharp eye for brand standards — logos, colour, typography, tone of voice — across multiple clients held in parallel
- • Strong working knowledge of platform specs across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and the static and video formats they accept
- • Proven ability to build process from scratch: SOPs, checklists, review templates, claim libraries
- • Clear, constructive communicator — able to flag issues without slowing the work down or putting people on the defensive
