- • Own end-to-end execution of internal events including Summer Synergy, team on-sites, local meetups, and recurring virtual programming such as Big Donuts, lunch & learns, and happy hours.
- • Lead and manage core culture programs including tenure and life-gifting, Value Awards, and other rituals designed to recognize and celebrate employees.
- • Partner with managers to deliver culture training, equipping them to model company values and effectively use available tools to lead their teams.
- • Track engagement metrics and gather employee feedback to evaluate the impact of culture initiatives and prioritize future efforts.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with founders, People leadership, and the Office & Events team to ensure consistency and quality across all employee experiences.
- • Own the design and execution of BioRender’s branded swag program in close partnership with the founders.
- • Operate as a key driver of company culture within a fast-growing, remote-first, distributed team across Canada and the U.S.
- • Translate cultural vision set by founders and leadership into tangible, scalable programs and daily experiences that reinforce company values.
- • Maintain high standards of execution while managing multiple programs simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and attention to detail.
- • Use AI tools and operational efficiencies to streamline event planning and culture program management without compromising quality.
- • Demonstrate high empathy and cultural intuition to read team dynamics and adapt experiences to meet evolving employee needs.
- • Remain resilient and adaptable in the face of shifting priorities, maintaining focus and momentum during periods of ambiguity.
- • Willingness to engage in hands-on execution, from coordinating logistics to personally managing small details, while also shaping strategic direction.
🎯 Requirements
- • Exceptional program manager/operator with ability to run multiple programs in parallel, sweat the details, ship on time, and use AI to streamline work
- • Proven experience planning and executing memorable events in a startup, agency, or hospitality environment
- • Strong culture-first instincts with deep care for employee experience, high empathy, and ability to read a room
- • Strong stakeholder management skills, comfortable working directly with founders and executives, managing up, pushing back when needed, and earning trust quickly
- • High resilience and comfort with ambiguity, staying grounded when priorities shift
- • Willingness to do the work — experienced enough to shape ideas but happy to roll up sleeves on execution
