📋 Description

  • • As a Senior Cyber Security Analyst at Lumindigital LLC, you will be at the forefront of protecting our critical corporate and public cloud environments, which are the bedrock for our advanced financial services platforms. This pivotal role demands a proactive and deeply technical approach to safeguarding our digital banking solutions against an ever-evolving threat landscape.
  • • Your primary responsibility will involve the meticulous monitoring and evaluation of potential threats targeting our cloud-hosted financial services. You will leverage cutting-edge tools and methodologies to assess both applications and infrastructure for vulnerabilities, ensuring that our systems are robust and resilient.
  • • You will be instrumental in operating and optimizing technical controls designed to protect sensitive data, implementing best practices in data security and privacy.
  • • A key aspect of this role is leading and providing senior-level support during security incident response efforts. You will apply industry-standard practices to effectively manage and mitigate security incidents, minimizing impact and ensuring swift recovery.
  • • Collaboration is central to this position. You will partner closely with risk management, compliance, and audit functions to continuously enhance our organization’s information assurance posture, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • • Success in this senior capacity hinges on your deep technical expertise, your ability to exercise strong independent judgment, and your capacity to proactively reduce risk within complex cloud environments.
  • • You will be tasked with utilizing and refining our monitoring, reporting, and alerting capabilities. This includes employing research, database queries, data manipulation, and technical reporting skills to identify, prioritize, and address security threats with precision.
  • • Maintaining and enhancing our threat models will be crucial for informing and prioritizing the security team’s risk management activities, ensuring our defenses are aligned with current and emerging threats.
  • • You will utilize and maintain a suite of vulnerability scanning and penetration testing tools to systematically identify weaknesses across multiple environments and systems at scale, providing a comprehensive view of our security posture.
  • • A significant part of your role will involve collaborating with clients, auditors, vendors, and internal teams. This collaboration is essential for validating and strengthening the security posture across all layers of our infrastructure, including cloud, network, and application layers.
  • • You will investigate reported vulnerabilities and risks, qualifying findings and independently resolving issues or expertly assigning remediation actions to the appropriate functional areas, ensuring accountability and timely resolution.
  • • Developing and implementing innovative strategies, scripts, configurations, and manual procedures will be key to reducing security risks across our cloud services, servers, network devices, and endpoints.
  • • You will operate and enhance critical security solutions, such as firewalls, Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tools, Cloud Access Security Brokers (CASBs), and Antivirus/Endpoint Detection and Response (AV/EDR) systems, continuously improving their configurations and policies.
  • • You will actively participate in and provide senior-level support during formalized security incident response procedures, covering all phases of the incident handling lifecycle, from initial preparation through post-incident lessons learned.
  • • Collecting and meticulously documenting evidence of security program activities will be essential for satisfying client due diligence requests and supporting both internal and external audit activities, demonstrating our commitment to security and compliance.
  • • This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the security and integrity of financial services platforms in a dynamic, remote-first environment. You will be empowered to drive security initiatives, mentor junior team members, and contribute to the strategic direction of Lumindigital's cybersecurity efforts.
