📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end cybersecurity and information security engagements with a primary focus on ISO27001 implementations, from gap assessments to certification readiness.
• Deliver comprehensive cyber incident exercising, including tabletop simulations and scenario-based drills to enhance organizational resilience.
• Conduct internal audits aligned with ISO27001 standards and support clients through external audit processes, including preparation, evidence gathering, and remediation planning.
• Drive remediation activities to close audit findings and improve the effectiveness of information security controls.
• Perform risk assessments and develop risk treatment plans that align with ISO27001 requirements and organizational objectives.
• Design, implement, and maintain policies, standards, and controls to establish and sustain an effective Information Security Management System (ISMS).
• Embed governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) practices within client organizations to ensure sustainable security posture and regulatory alignment.
• Work directly with client stakeholders at all levels, translating technical security requirements into actionable business outcomes for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Manage multiple concurrent client engagements, prioritizing deliverables and ensuring timely, high-quality outcomes under tight deadlines.
• Communicate audit results, risk exposures, and compliance status clearly and confidently to executive leadership and operational teams.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory expectations to provide clients with current, practical guidance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality consultancy services across all client projects.
• Document engagement processes, findings, and recommendations in accordance with Instil’s methodologies and client-specific requirements.
• Represent Instil professionally in client meetings, workshops, and presentations, reinforcing trust and credibility as a cybersecurity expert.
• Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals, scoping documents, and client onboarding materials.
• Continuously improve engagement delivery through feedback loops, lessons learned, and process refinement.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in cyber or information security roles, with a focus on governance, risk, and compliance.
• Proven experience delivering ISO27001 implementations end-to-end, including audit readiness.
• Hands-on experience leading internal audits and supporting external audits.
• Strong, practical knowledge of ISO27001 and ISMS implementation.
• ISO27001 Lead Auditor certification.
• Experience in consulting or project-based environments, with strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
