- • Day-to-day responsibilities include owning large data domains by integrating data requirements into project planning, collaborating with cross-functional teams, building and maintaining data pipelines and dashboards, and ensuring the data warehouse remains the single source of truth.
- • Designing and optimizing data models using advanced DBT features independently, with a strong focus on query performance, code quality, and scalability to support evolving business needs.
- • Developing sophisticated dashboards that go beyond basic visualization to answer critical business questions, uncover trends, and support strategic decision-making across product, marketing, finance, and operations teams.
- • Proactively identifying trends and opportunities through deep exploratory analysis, going beyond immediate requests to surface actionable insights that anticipate future business needs.
- • Partnering with stakeholders to refine requirements, offering data-driven recommendations that align with business priorities, maximize impact, and foster a culture of data literacy.
- • Autonomously owning project planning, participating in cross-functional domain ownership, and mentoring junior analysts to elevate team capabilities and establish best practices in data modeling, storytelling, and governance.
- • Contributing to the establishment of data organization standards by sharing knowledge, reviewing code, and promoting high integrity in SQL, DBT, and Git workflows.

🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, data engineering, or related data roles with proven ability to handle complex datasets and deliver business impact.
- • Advanced expertise in SQL, including writing, reviewing, and optimizing queries for performance, with deep understanding of query execution plans and indexing strategies.
- • Independent proficiency in DBT, including implementing complex features such as incremental models, tests, documentation, and macros, and understanding shared team pipelines.
- • Strong version control skills with Git, including analyzing code history, reviewing pull requests for quality and performance, and maintaining clean, collaborative workflows.
- • Exceptional data storytelling ability: skilled at adapting communication to technical and non-technical audiences, clearly connecting analytical work to strategic business outcomes and recommendations.
- • Proactive mindset in identifying high-impact work based on business needs, with strong collaboration skills to engage stakeholders across product, finance, marketing, and operations domains.
