As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be instrumental in building our modern data team from the ground up, ensuring data is not just available but actively utilized to drive strategic decisions across the organization.
• This role is designed for a high-agency analyst who thrives on transforming raw data into actionable insights. You will take ownership of the critical tools and data sources that our leaders and teams depend on daily. This includes developing and maintaining comprehensive dashboards, establishing robust weekly insight loops, and conducting deep-dive analyses that convert complex signals from logs, events, operational workflows, and partner escalations into clear, prioritized actions.
• A core responsibility will be to champion metric correctness and drive data adoption throughout the company. You will work collaboratively to reconcile data definitions, implement rigorous acceptance testing, and identify and close instrumentation gaps. This proactive approach will empower teams to confidently self-serve their data needs, fostering a data-driven culture.
• Reporting directly to the Head of Business Operations, you will provide crucial analytical support to our leadership team. You will also forge strong partnerships with our Product and Customer teams, acting as a key enabler in leveling up the organization's analytical capabilities and strategic decision-making.
• Your primary responsibilities will include building intuitive and reliable dashboards and data sources that facilitate self-service analytics. These views will be designed to be clear, trusted, and directly support the operating cadence and day-to-day decision-making processes across various departments.
• You will be responsible for proactive insights discovery, establishing a consistent rhythm for surfacing critical information to the individuals and teams who need it most. This involves understanding business needs and proactively identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
• A significant part of your role will be to own metric quality in close collaboration with key stakeholders. You will partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to ensure that the organization can accurately answer its most important business questions and that the data infrastructure is reliable and trustworthy.
• You will be expected to frame complex problems, conduct end-to-end analyses, and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations. This includes everything from initial problem definition and data extraction to insight generation and ensuring follow-through on implemented actions.
• Your expertise will be vital in ensuring data integrity and consistency, working across teams to establish a unified understanding of key business metrics. This will involve deep dives into data quality issues, identifying root causes, and implementing solutions to prevent recurrence.
• You will play a pivotal role in democratizing data access, creating self-service tools and documentation that empower non-technical stakeholders to explore data and derive their own insights, thereby increasing overall data literacy and agility within the company.

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced SQL skills, including comfort with complex joins, edge cases, and messy schemas.
• Advanced experience with BI tools (Looker, Mode, Tableau, Omni, Hex, or similar) and designing dashboards for self-serve analytics.
• 5–8+ years of experience in data analytics, business analytics, data science, product analytics, consulting, or related roles.
• A structured approach to problem solving and the ability to turn fuzzy questions into crisp analysis and clear actions.
