- • Lead analytics for Brigit’s new Line of Credit product, driving product insights, designing experiments, and optimizing underwriting strategies to directly impact company profitability.
- • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to define core product metrics and align on key levers influencing customer adoption, retention, and satisfaction.
- • Design and execute product experiments to optimize customer experience, improve product-market fit, and increase conversion across acquisition flows.
- • Forecast revenue from subscriptions and fees, and model cost drivers including delinquencies, payment processing costs, and operational expenses.
- • Partner with Data Science to evaluate, deploy, and monitor predictive models that assess customer risk profiles and repayment capacity.
- • Build and maintain dashboards to track model performance post-launch, identify performance drift, and trigger timely adjustments to underwriting and collection strategies.
- • Translate complex model outputs and analytical findings into clear, business-legible insights for stakeholders across product, finance, and executive leadership.
- • Conduct ad-hoc analyses for high-priority strategic initiatives requested by leadership, providing data-driven recommendations to guide decision-making.
- • Work embedded within the Line of Credit pod to ensure analytics are tightly integrated into product development cycles and roadmap prioritization.
- • Synthesize ambiguous, high-stakes business problems into hypothesis-driven investigations, turning insights into actionable product and operational changes.
- • Communicate qualitative and quantitative results effectively through verbal presentations and written reports to technical, business, and non-technical audiences.
- • Manage cross-functional collaborations without direct authority, influencing product direction through data and stakeholder alignment with product managers, engineers, and marketers.
- • Break large, complex projects into manageable components to meet deadlines and ensure consistent delivery of analytical outputs in a fast-paced startup environment.
- • Maintain and evolve data models using advanced SQL, ensuring accuracy and scalability of analytical infrastructure supporting the Line of Credit product.
- • Leverage Python or R (preferred) to enhance analytical workflows, automate reporting, and support model evaluation tasks.
- • Foster a culture of intellectual curiosity about customer behavior and product performance, balancing data rigor with humility and teamwork.
- • Operate effectively in a hybrid work model with regular in-office collaboration in New York City while maintaining productivity in remote settings.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4-6+ years in a product analytics or strategy role
- • Experience in a fast-paced consumer finance or fintech startup environment is strongly preferred
- • Advanced SQL — ability to write complex queries from scratch and maintain data models
- • Ability to synthesize ambiguous problems into hypothesis-driven investigations and communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- • Demonstrated success influencing product roadmaps and business strategy through data without direct authority
- • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and hybrid work environment
