  • • Are you a data virtuoso with a passion for uncovering the hidden drivers of marketing success? Montu UK Limited is seeking a Senior Data Analyst specializing in Marketing Analytics to join our growing team. This is a pivotal, hands-on role for an individual contributor who thrives on deep-diving into complex datasets, articulating the narrative behind performance metrics, and translating raw data into actionable strategies that fuel growth. If you possess a keen analytical mind, a love for the technical intricacies of data, and a drive to solve tangible business challenges, this opportunity is tailor-made for you.
  • • In this crucial role, you will serve as a trusted partner to our diverse marketing department, which encompasses paid media, customer relationship management (CRM), and lifecycle marketing. Your primary objective will be to bring unparalleled clarity to intricate marketing questions, enabling data-informed decision-making across the entire marketing function. You will be expected to navigate ambiguity with confidence, proactively set your own direction, and consistently deliver impactful results. This is an opportunity to shape the future of our marketing analytics capabilities and directly influence our growth trajectory.
  • • Your responsibilities will span a wide spectrum of marketing analytics, ensuring comprehensive coverage and insightful reporting. You will be instrumental in partnering with various marketing teams to deliver clear, actionable insights into performance across a multitude of channels, including but not limited to Google Ads, Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram), other social media channels, and our CRM systems. This involves not just reporting on what happened, but critically analyzing why it happened and what actions should be taken next.
  • • A core aspect of your role will involve the meticulous analysis of marketing spend and its corresponding outcomes. You will be responsible for providing data-driven recommendations that support ongoing optimization efforts and enhance the quality of our decision-making processes. This includes evaluating the effectiveness of campaigns, identifying areas of high ROI, and flagging underperforming initiatives for review and adjustment.
  • • You will take ownership of and actively evolve our Google Analytics 4 (GA4) setup. This entails ensuring that our tracking mechanisms are robust, accurate, and meticulously focused on capturing and reporting meaningful performance metrics that align with our business objectives. This includes defining key events, setting up custom dimensions and metrics, and ensuring data integrity.
  • • Collaborating closely with our CRM teams, you will delve into the analysis of customer lifecycle journeys, retention strategies, and engagement patterns. This will involve leveraging a variety of data sources to build a holistic understanding of customer behavior and identify opportunities to improve customer lifetime value and loyalty.
  • • As the internal subject matter expert for marketing data requirements, you will work hand-in-hand with our Analytics Engineers. Your role will be to clearly articulate business needs and ensure that the data models and dashboards developed accurately reflect and meet these requirements, providing the marketing team with the tools they need to succeed.
  • • You will lead the charge in developing advanced measurement techniques that go beyond basic attribution models. This includes moving towards more sophisticated analyses such as Customer Lifetime Value (LTV) and Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) calculations, and critically, exploring incrementality testing to understand the true impact of marketing efforts.
  • • Effective communication of your findings is paramount. You will be responsible for translating complex analytical results into clear, concise, and compelling narratives through well-designed dashboards, insightful presentations, and direct conversations with senior stakeholders. Your ability to distill complex data into understandable insights will be key to driving strategic alignment and action.
  • • This role demands a proactive and self-starting mindset. You should be comfortable navigating ambiguity, working independently, and taking initiative to drive projects forward with minimal supervision. Your ability to manage your own workload and prioritize effectively will be crucial for success in this dynamic environment.
  • • We are looking for someone who can not only perform the analysis but also champion data-driven decision-making across the marketing function, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven experience in digital analytics, preferably within a fast-paced, growth-focused company.
  • • Hands-on proficiency with SQL is essential; experience with BigQuery, GA4, Looker, and Google Sheets is highly desirable.
  • • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with data or analytics engineering teams, clearly defining requirements and translating insights into actionable strategies.
  • • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex analyses in simple, practical terms to non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making.
  • • A self-starter mentality with the capacity to navigate ambiguity, work independently, and drive projects to completion.
  • • Experience with CRM platforms like Braze or similar is considered a strong advantage.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
  • • Generous holiday allowance: starting at 25 days per year, increasing to 27 days after one year of service, and then to 30 days after two years of service, plus bank holidays.
  • • Company-matched pension scheme: 5% contribution from the company.
  • • Cycle-to-work scheme to promote sustainable commuting.
  • • Significant opportunities for professional development and career growth within a leading digital health company.
  • • A dynamic, supportive, and collaborative work environment where your contributions are valued and impactful.
