📋 Description

• Design and implement robust, scalable data architectures and pipelines for batch and real-time data processing.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes using modern data processing frameworks to support analytics and reporting.
• Develop data models and schemas optimized for performance, consistency, and reliability across all data systems.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security by implementing monitoring, validation, and compliance frameworks.
• Work with multiple cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP based on client requirements and project needs.
• Implement data solutions using cloud-native services such as data lakes, data warehouses, serverless computing, and event-driven architectures.
• Create automated data ingestion pipelines from diverse sources including APIs, databases, files, and streaming platforms.
• Optimize data pipeline performance and cost-efficiency while maintaining high availability and scalability.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Partner with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD practices for data pipelines using containerization and orchestration tools.
• Participate in architecture reviews and technical decision-making to align data infrastructure with business goals.
• Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
• Utilize data processing frameworks including Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, and Airflow for large-scale data workflows.
• Maintain expertise in data warehouse design, dimensional modeling, and data governance principles including GDPR and CCPA.
• Work in an Agile consulting environment, adapting quickly to evolving client needs and technology stacks.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the team.
• Stay current with emerging trends in data engineering, including data mesh, data fabric, MLOps, and modern data stack tools.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or Scala/Java
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, Kafka, and Airflow or similar workflow orchestration tools
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native data services
• Proficiency in SQL and database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
