We are on a mission to revolutionize how businesses manage critical applications by building an AI-native enterprise software stack from the ground up, starting with a real-time collaborative financial planning and reporting platform. As a key member of our small, rapidly growing team, you will have a significant impact on the design and implementation of our core data infrastructure, directly contributing to our vision of becoming the underlying database and operating system for every business-critical application.
• • In this dynamic role, you will focus on two critical areas: building robust data pipelines for our diverse clientele and contributing to the development of our proprietary data platform. Your responsibilities will span the entire data lifecycle, from ingestion and transformation to validation and serving, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of enterprise financial data within the Farseer ecosystem.
• • You will be instrumental in extracting data from a variety of sources, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, databases, APIs, and spreadsheets, and seamlessly integrating it into Farseer's powerful calculation engine. This involves meticulous transformation and validation processes, culminating in the delivery of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) reports that rigorously prove data consistency with source systems. A significant part of your role will involve direct collaboration with client finance and IT teams, fostering a deep understanding of their unique data landscapes and requirements. Each successful implementation will not only serve a client but also contribute to the continuous improvement and acceleration of future projects, as you actively build and refine the platform that powers these integrations.
• • Concurrently, you will be a core contributor to building the data platform itself. This greenfield initiative involves designing and constructing a scalable system that underpins all data operations. Your work will encompass declarative pipeline definitions, sophisticated schema validation mechanisms, the development of a reusable connector library, robust orchestration frameworks, comprehensive freshness monitoring, and proactive alerting systems. Ultimately, you will help shape a customer-facing user interface dedicated to dataset health, providing transparency and control over data quality.
