This position demands deep technical proficiency in Kafka-based Change Data Capture (CDC) pipelines, cloud data warehousing, and sophisticated database optimization techniques. • • **Core Responsibilities: Architecting and Implementing Robust Data Solutions**
• • As a Senior Data Engineer, your responsibilities will span the entire data lifecycle, from infrastructure design to governance and collaboration:
• • **Data Infrastructure Design & Development:**
• • Architect, develop, and maintain robust, real-time data pipelines utilizing Apache Kafka, Debezium, and Confluent connectors. You will ensure seamless data ingestion from various sources, including Oracle, MongoDB, and BigQuery.
• • Implement and manage fault-tolerant CDC pipelines, guaranteeing efficient message delivery and unwavering data integrity. This involves meticulous design and continuous monitoring to prevent data loss and ensure consistency.
• • Develop and automate sophisticated ETL/ELT workflows. You will leverage platforms like Dataiku or create custom Python/SQL frameworks to transform and load data efficiently, meeting diverse analytical and operational needs.
• • **Database Engineering & Optimization:**
• • Administer and meticulously tune large-scale Oracle databases. This includes implementing advanced techniques such as partitioning, indexing, and performance tuning specifically for demanding analytical workloads.
• • Design and evolve data models that effectively support both operational reporting requirements and advanced analytical use cases, ensuring flexibility and scalability.
• • Develop complex SQL reporting queries and robust reconciliation logic. Your work will be crucial in ensuring transactional consistency and accuracy across our diverse systems.
• • **Cloud & Integration Engineering:**
• • Build, manage, and optimize integrations across hybrid environments, seamlessly connecting on-premises systems with cloud-based data warehouses and services.

• • Implement comprehensive data validation, observability, and alerting frameworks for all production pipelines. This proactive approach will ensure the health, reliability, and performance of our data infrastructure.

• • Create and maintain essential metadata, lineage, and quality monitoring tools for datasets across various domains. This ensures transparency, traceability, and trustworthiness of our data assets.
