- • Design, build, and optimize modern, cloud-based data platforms that power analytics, AI, and data products across the organization.
- • Develop scalable batch, streaming, and near-real-time data pipelines using Apache Spark and Delta Lake for structured and unstructured data.
- • Implement lakehouse architectures with medallion layering (bronze, silver, gold) to ensure reusable, scalable, and enterprise-aligned data systems.
- • Enable data pipelines for GenAI use cases including RAG, vector-based data flows, LLM-powered applications, and agent-based architectures.
- • Design logical and physical data models for analytical and operational use cases, ensuring consistency across domains.
- • Orchestrate end-to-end data workflows using tools such as Airflow, dbt, or Lakeflow with a focus on automation, reliability, and maintainability.
- • Apply modern architecture patterns including event-driven and streaming systems while ensuring adherence to data governance, lineage, quality, and access control (RBAC/ABAC).
- • Establish robust data observability through monitoring of data freshness, pipeline reliability, and SLA adherence to maintain production-grade trustworthiness.
- • Enable data serving layers via APIs, feature inputs, and analytical endpoints to support downstream ML and AI platforms.
- • Continuously monitor and optimize data pipelines and infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- • Collaborate closely with data scientists, ML engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust data solutions.
- • Support the adoption of data products and contribute to best practices across the data and AI ecosystem.
- • Work within a hybrid model with remote flexibility while being based in Kosovo.
- • Engage with cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure/Fabric (primary), AWS, GCP, Databricks, and Snowflake.
- • Ensure data governance, security, and observability across the entire data ecosystem.
- • Contribute to Agile or consulting-style environments with a collaborative, problem-solving mindset focused on scalability and reliability.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong hands-on experience with Apache Spark and Delta Lake
- • Proven expertise in Python and SQL for building batch and streaming data pipelines
- • Experience with Microsoft Azure/Fabric, AWS, or GCP, with familiarity with Databricks and Snowflake
- • Demonstrated understanding of lakehouse architectures and distributed data systems
- • Solid knowledge of data modeling, data quality, and governance principles
- • Experience working in Agile or consulting environments
