  • • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using ETL/ELT processes to ingest, transform, and load data from multiple sources into the company’s data warehouse.
  • • Implement and enforce data quality checks and validation protocols to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of all data assets.
  • • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to interpret their analytical requirements and deliver tailored data solutions that support decision-making and innovation.
  • • Contribute to the design, documentation, and maintenance of data models, schemas, and data dictionaries to ensure standardized and usable data structures across teams.
  • • Monitor the performance of data pipelines, proactively identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot data-related issues to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity.
  • • Evaluate and recommend new data technologies, tools, and platforms to enhance the efficiency, scalability, and security of the data infrastructure.
  • • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all data pipelines, processes, data models, and governance procedures to support knowledge sharing and onboarding.
  • • Participate in the development and enforcement of data governance policies and procedures to align with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • • Engage in regular code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions with fellow data engineers to promote best practices and collective technical growth.
  • • Support the migration of legacy data pipelines to modern, scalable architectures that improve performance and reduce technical debt.
  • • Optimize complex SQL queries for performance and efficiency across relational database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.
  • • Work with NoSQL databases including MongoDB to manage unstructured and semi-structured data sources as needed.
  • • Utilize Git for version control, collaborative development, and codebase management in a team environment.
  • • Apply foundational knowledge of data modeling techniques to design schemas that support analytical and operational use cases.
  • • Ensure adherence to data validation principles by identifying and resolving issues such as duplicates, missing values, and incorrect data formats.
  • • Maintain strong communication with cross-functional teams including software engineering, business intelligence, and data science to deliver high-quality, timely data solutions.
  • • Contribute to the continuous improvement of data infrastructure by staying current with industry trends and applying practical insights to daily workflows.
  • • Support company objectives by enabling data-driven decision-making that reduces risk, improves compliance, and enhances workforce health and safety in the healthcare sector.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
  • • 4+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role
  • • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python or Java
  • • Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Apache Airflow or similar
  • • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
  • • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
