📋 Description

• As a Senior Product & Growth Data Scientist at Zoe, you will be a key driver in shaping product and growth decisions through data, combining product analytics, experimentation, and applied statistical/ML modeling to influence strategy, roadmap, and member experience.
• Day to day, you will optimize the growth journey by analyzing the acquisition funnel, run high-quality experiments using methods like sequential testing and CUPED, build and evolve metrics across acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and monetization, predict and influence user behavior using causal and inferential methods, collaborate with leadership to communicate insights to senior stakeholders, elevate data foundations by working with dbt and instrumentation layers, and apply a 'So What?' filter to prioritize clarity and simplicity in solutions.
• You will sit within Zoe’s Product & Growth Analytics team, a close-knit group of six experts (80% female, 20% male) that values diverse perspectives and works closely with Product Managers, Growth Marketers, Designers, and Engineers, combining analytics engineering, experimentation, and product data science to raise the bar in data-driven decision making.
• In this role, you will develop expertise in influencing product strategy through data, mastering experimentation and causal inference, translating complex findings into actionable business recommendations, and growing as a trusted analytics partner in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment focused on transforming health through science and technology.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product analytics, growth analytics, or data science with ownership of analytics domains and influence on product intent
• Strong quantitative foundation via degree (Statistics, Maths, CS, Engineering, Physics, Economics) or equivalent track record in solving complex quantitative problems
• Deep proficiency in SQL and Python, with hands-on experience in statistical modeling (regression, classification, time-to-event analysis)
• Experience running rigorous experimentation and a clear perspective on what constitutes good experimentation practice
• Ability to translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable stories for stakeholders, including comfort challenging the status quo
• Thrives in dynamic, low-process environments and comfortable making recommendations with ~70% evidence, aligned with Zoe’s #ActFast value
