- • The Senior Deal Desk Analyst at Fivetran plays a critical role in accelerating revenue by ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely deal processing across sales, finance, and legal teams—directly enabling the company’s mission to make data access as simple and reliable as electricity.
- • This role is essential to maintaining deal velocity and operational excellence in a high-growth SaaS environment, where precision in quoting, contracting, and revenue recognition directly impacts ARR and customer trust.
- • Day to day, the analyst acts as a liaison between sellers and cross-functional partners including sales ops, finance, product, sales leadership, and legal to facilitate timely and accurate deal closure.
- • They manage complex, nonstandard, predominantly Enterprise deals with multiple stakeholders, ensuring alignment on deal structures that meet customer needs while maximizing revenue.
- • They provide strategic guidance to Account Executives and Sales Management on deal structures, pricing, discounts, and special terms to optimize ARR and compliance.
- • They partner with Finance and Legal to craft contractual language that adheres to revenue recognition standards (ASC 606) and internal operational policies.
- • They manage quote and contract approval workflows using Salesforce CPQ and Ironclad, enforcing Deal Desk guidelines and company best practices for consistency and speed.
- • They maintain agreed-upon Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for approvals and deal review times, ensuring predictable throughput during peak periods.
- • They perform month-end and quarter-end closing activities, validating completeness and accuracy of contracts, order forms, and related documentation for reporting and audit readiness.
- • They participate in training initiatives for new quote and contracting processes, helping scale knowledge across the sales organization.
- • They identify and drive process improvement opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce bottlenecks, and enhance global Deal Desk efficiency.
- • They cross-train with other Deal Desk functions to ensure global coverage and resilience in quote, contracting, and order management operations.
- • The Deal Desk team operates as a strategic hub within Fivetran’s global Go-to-Market organization, collaborating closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Product to uphold the company’s core values of Get Stuck In, Do the Right Thing, and One Team, One Dream.

- • They will gain visibility into executive-level decision-making, build influence across departments, and position themselves for advancement into senior Deal Desk leadership, Sales Operations, or Revenue Strategy roles.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience working directly with high volume as well as complex sales teams in a supportive capacity, preferably in a SaaS/B2B environment supporting enterprise customers.
- • Proven success in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, or Revenue Operations roles, with expertise in navigating revenue recognition requirements (ASC 606) and partnering with Revenue leadership on compliant deal structures.
- • Expertise in Salesforce CPQ and Ironclad (or comparable CLM) platforms, including managing quote and contract approval workflows for pricing, discounts, and special terms.
- • Ability to work extended hours during month-end and quarter-end close periods, with demonstrated capability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
- • Strong customer service skills, exceptional interpersonal abilities, and a proven track record of building trusted relationships with internal stakeholders across sales, finance, legal, and product teams.
- • Prior deal desk or sales operations experience is required; bonus consideration for candidates with direct Ironclad experience.
