- • Success Coach, WFE (Bilingual-Spanish) at Strayer University, Inc. serves as a one-stop shop to support students through the utilization of their employer’s tuition assistance benefit, providing personalized end-to-end guidance to help employees achieve academic success.
- • Day to day, the Success Coach partners with program advisors to ensure smooth transitions into education programs, communicates regularly with employees via outbound channels, assists in setting and achieving academic goals, develops study habits and time management skills, helps navigate academic challenges by connecting students to tutoring and support services, monitors progress, provides feedback, tracks milestones, conducts check-ins, celebrates achievements, and delivers workshops on academic success and study skills.
- • The role is part of Strategic Education, Inc.’s Workforce Edge initiative, which partners with employers to offer education benefits; the team focuses on empowering adult and non-traditional learners through coaching, mentorship, and resource coordination across diverse educational institutions.
- • In this role, the person can develop advanced coaching and mentoring expertise, strengthen bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish, gain experience in student success programming and data-informed coaching, build cross-functional relationships with employers and educators, and contribute to measurable improvements in student retention and goal attainment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 2 years of experience in higher education advising, academic coaching, or a related field
- • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required; Master’s degree preferred
- • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (speaking and writing) required
- • Experience working with adult learners and non-traditional students preferred
- • Proven ability to provide effective guidance and support to individuals pursuing educational goals
- • Strong relationship-building skills to develop trust with diverse stakeholders including employees, employers, and educational institutions
