- • As a Senior Deal Desk Specialist at Smartsheet, you will serve as a trusted advisor to global sales teams, ensuring deals are structured efficiently to maximize ACV, customer satisfaction, and risk management while supporting the company’s mission to empower teams through scalable work management solutions.
- • Day to day, you will guide sales on routine to moderately complex deal structures, collaborate with Finance, Legal, Sales, and Operations teams to resolve custom requirements, review deal requests for compliance, ensure accurate documentation, and maintain same-day response standards to expedite deal execution.
- • You will join a dynamic, mission-driven team at Smartsheet, a company dedicated to building tools that unlock meaningful work, where innovation, inclusivity, and impact are core values, and your role will be based in Bangalore supporting global sales operations.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in SaaS deal structuring, revenue recognition, and cross-functional process improvement, while developing leadership skills by leading project initiatives and influencing organizational change to enhance deal desk efficiency and accuracy.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of relevant Deal Desk or Sales Support experience in a SaaS company with exposure to Direct, Channel, Government, Services, and International Sales models.
- • Understanding of sales processes, billing, revenue recognition, deal structuring, and contract management within a technology or SaaS environment.
- • Experience working with Salesforce, CPQ, NetSuite, or similar CRM and ERP systems to support deal processing and data accuracy.
- • Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively advise sales teams and collaborate across functions.
- • Ability to work flexible hours on a rotating schedule (US East: 6pm–3am IST) to support EMEA and APAC sales teams.
- • Proven ability to drive process improvements and influence change within a fast-moving organization.
