📋 Description
- • Formulates grant and study budgets in accordance with established norms, including entering documentation and securing necessary approvals to establish multidisciplinary research project controls.
- • Authorizes expenses on grant studies and related departmental or project-specific accounts, ensuring compliance with funding guidelines and institutional policies.
- • Processes a wide range of financial and administrative documents including check requests, travel expense reports, purchase orders, blanket orders, invoice statements, and other office-related paperwork.
- • Maintains and updates accounting records for various equipment used in financial operations, ensuring accurate tracking and documentation.
- • Processes payroll and appointment documentation for academic and staff personnel, coordinating with relevant departments to ensure timely and accurate disbursement.
- • Manages and maintains departmental personnel files, providing support for benefits administration and employee recordkeeping.
- • Assists staff responsible for purchasing, payroll, and accounting functions by performing delegated tasks and ensuring workflow efficiency.
- • Distributes and screens incoming mail, routing correspondence to the appropriate departmental personnel for action.
- • Copies and prepares documents for internal distribution and signature processes, supporting administrative continuity and compliance.
- • Operates standard office equipment to complete daily accounting and documentation tasks in a remote environment.
- • Adheres to institutional protocols for financial controls, documentation retention, and confidentiality in handling sensitive research and personnel data.
- • Supports the accounting function for the Infectious Diseases department with focus on research fund management and regulatory compliance.
- • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and documentation for sponsored projects.
- • Monitors and tracks expenditures against approved budgets to prevent overages and ensure alignment with grant requirements.
- • Provides administrative support for daily accounting operations including document organization, filing, and retrieval.
- • Ensures timely processing of financial transactions to meet internal deadlines and external reporting requirements.
