- • As a Senior Developer Advocate for AI Engineering at Sanity, you will be the face of the company in developer communities, building trust and credibility through authentic engagement and technical content that empowers developers to build with Sanity’s AI-powered Content Operating System.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include creating developer-focused content such as blog posts, use cases, demos, and videos; building AI-first workflows and tooling (like Skills and plug-ins) to boost team productivity; maintaining an active presence across online and offline communities (Discord, X, GitHub, Reddit, conferences, meetups); and traveling 20-30% for events to foster relationships and gather feedback.
- • You’ll join a highly skilled, globally distributed team at Sanity, a modern content operating system used by innovative companies like SKIMS, Figma, Riot Games, Anthropic, and Nordstrom to model, create, and automate content as data — enabling seamless personalization across channels.
- • In this role, you’ll deepen your expertise in AI-assisted development, web dev tooling, and community dynamics while shaping Sanity’s developer ecosystem; you’ll grow as a technical leader and public speaker, ship impactful demos and programs, and leave a measurable impact on how developers adopt and advocate for AI-native content workflows.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years in developer relations or developer community at a developer tools company, or 2+ years in an AI Engineering role
- • Ability to write code, ship demos, and speak credibly with developers about actual AI-assisted development practices
- • Strong public speaking skills, comfortable on stage, in workshops, and in informal conference settings
- • Experience running a community program (not just participating), with an existing presence in relevant developer communities (JavaScript, Next.js, content tooling, AI dev tools)
- • Understanding of web development tools and how AI is transforming them, plus ability to discern healthy vs. performative communities
