📋 Description

• As a Senior Developer - Communications at Jane Technologies, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how clinics interact with patients and teams through innovative, customer-facing communication tools, directly supporting Jane’s mission to help the helpers by improving the reliability, seamlessness, and impact of clinical communication.
• You will take ownership of ambiguous, high-impact technical challenges, guiding them from concept through to delivery while collaborating across engineering, product, and design to ensure solutions are aligned with evolving priorities and grounded in real customer outcomes.
• Your day-to-day work will involve contributing across the full stack—frontend, backend, and systems—stepping in where needed to advance projects, improve development practices, and mentor teammates through knowledge sharing and constructive feedback.
• You will help drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to simplify workflows, experiment with new approaches (including AI-enhanced communication), and iterate on both product and team processes to increase effectiveness and joy in delivery.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience with proven ability to independently drive medium-complexity projects from idea to completion
• Demonstrated experience working across the stack (frontend, backend, systems) with depth in at least one area and comfort learning others
• Track record of delivering work tied to real customer or business outcomes, not just technical improvements
• Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams and communicating clearly about tradeoffs, risks, and progress
• History of mentoring or supporting other developers and fostering a positive, growth-oriented team environment

• Annual salary range of $128,000 to $200,000, with most new hires starting at $152,000 based on skills and potential
