- • As a Senior Developer on the Growth Team at 1Password, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of self-serve experiences and product-led growth initiatives that directly impact how businesses adopt and scale their use of 1Password’s security platform. Your work will empower millions of users by enabling seamless, secure access to essential tools through innovative, data-driven product experiences.
- • You will design, build, and evolve backend services and customer-facing web applications using modern technologies like Go, Node.js, Ruby, Python, React, and TypeScript, focusing on creating scalable, observable, and secure systems that support rapid experimentation and growth.
- • You will lead the development and optimization of the experimentation platform, including feature flags, instrumentation, data quality, and reporting loops, ensuring that product hypotheses are tested rigorously and results are actionable for cross-functional teams.
- • You will collaborate closely with product, design, and data teams to define measurable success metrics, refine growth hypotheses, interpret experiment outcomes, and translate insights into product improvements that drive activation, engagement, and expansion.
- • You will balance the need for rapid iteration with long-term architectural integrity, advocating for code quality, performance, observability, and security best practices while mentoring peers through code reviews, design discussions, and pair programming.
- • You will identify and pursue technical opportunities to unlock new growth mechanisms, such as improving onboarding flows, enhancing integration capabilities, or enabling AI-assisted user experiences, directly influencing business outcomes.
- • You will operate with autonomy and initiative, driving technical direction and influencing team practices through a growth mindset, strong collaboration, and a commitment to continuous learning—especially in emerging areas like AI and security-sensitive domains.

🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of professional software development experience in a production SaaS environment.
- • Strong experience building backend services in a modern language such as Go, Node.js, Ruby, or Python.
- • Deep experience with React and/or TypeScript in customer-facing web applications.
- • Strong understanding of instrumentation, analytics, and defining meaningful success metrics.
- • Ability to operate autonomously, drive initiatives forward, and influence technical direction.
- • Strong collaboration skills and a growth mindset.
