📋 Description

• As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Clario, you will own and optimize the end-to-end mobile delivery pipeline for Android and iOS applications, ensuring seamless, secure, and reliable releases from code commit to app store deployment.
• You will design, implement, and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines using YAML, managing build, test, signing, and release stages while enforcing quality gates through automated testing, coverage thresholds, and release criteria.
• You will drive release automation by managing versioning, code signing, provisioning profiles, certificates, and keystores, enabling secure and compliant submissions to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• You will own and strengthen secrets management practices across pipelines, integrating tools like HashiCorp Vault or cloud-native secret managers to meet security and compliance standards.
• You will build and maintain synthetic monitoring and alerting systems to proactively detect degradation in build systems, release pipelines, and production app health, improving system reliability through SRE principles.
• You will optimize build performance and developer workflows to reduce cycle times, increase engineering throughput, and enhance overall developer experience through coaching, documentation, and process improvements.
• You will evaluate and pilot AI-assisted tooling across the delivery pipeline, including automated code review, test generation, and anomaly detection in build and release systems to increase efficiency and reduce manual toil.
• You will collaborate closely with mobile engineering, QA, security, and product teams to align delivery practices with business goals, ensuring cross-functional alignment and shared ownership of release quality.
• You will mentor and upskill team members through hands-on coaching and the establishment of clear documentation standards, fostering a culture of operational excellence and knowledge sharing.
• You will work with containerized environments, applying Docker and container orchestration knowledge (including Kubernetes, Helm, and service meshes) in the context of device testing and CI build environments to improve consistency and scalability.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, release engineering, or build engineering, with significant focus on mobile delivery pipelines for Android and/or iOS applications.
• Proven expertise in designing and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines using YAML, covering build, test, signing, and release stages for mobile platforms.
• Practical experience with secrets management solutions such as HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, GCP Secret Manager, or equivalent cloud-native tools.
• Strong scripting proficiency in Bash, Python, or similar languages for automating pipeline tasks, tooling, and infrastructure as code.
• Demonstrated ability to drive technical decisions across teams with clarity, influence, and buy-in, particularly in cross-functional settings involving engineering, security, and product.
• Working knowledge of Docker and containerization principles, especially as applied to device testing labs and CI build environments for mobile applications.
