  • • Design and implement a scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure primarily on Azure to support global healthcare operations.
  • • Own and evolve CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, safe, and automated deployments across multiple environments.
  • • Collaborate with engineering, AI, product, and compliance teams to ensure end-to-end system reliability and performance.
  • • Introduce and manage observability platforms for performance monitoring, alerting, and logging using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog.
  • • Champion infrastructure-as-code practices using Terraform and Ansible to standardize and automate environment provisioning.
  • • Solve complex operational challenges related to service uptime, latency, cost optimization, and system scalability.
  • • Drive architectural and tooling decisions for DevOps practices, ensuring alignment with business growth and technical strategy.
  • • Build and maintain compliance-ready infrastructure adhering to healthcare-specific security and privacy standards including ISO 27001, SOC 2, and HIPAA.
  • • Remain hands-on by actively contributing to the codebase, scripting, and infrastructure modifications.
  • • Implement DevSecOps practices by integrating security into the software development lifecycle using tools such as GitHub Advanced Security, Snyk, or Trivy.
  • • Manage secrets management systems and service mesh configurations for secure distributed systems.
  • • Work in a hybrid environment with flexibility to balance remote and in-office collaboration.
  • • Support rapid innovation in a hyper-growth startup environment where 20 million patient consults are supported annually and over 1 million weekly.
  • • Partner with clinicians, data scientists, and engineers to build healthtech infrastructure that reduces administrative burdens and improves patient care globally.
  • • Contribute to a flat-hierarchy culture that prioritizes truth over rank and empowers individuals to set and achieve ambitious goals.
  • • Help scale Heidi’s infrastructure to support expansion into the US, Canada, UK, and Europe.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven track record building and scaling production systems in cloud environments (preferably Azure)
  • • Experience implementing DevSecOps practices and integrating security into the SDLC
  • • Deep knowledge of infrastructure automation, CI/CD tooling, containerization, and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • • Expertise in monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog)
  • • Experience with application and dependency security tooling like GitHub Advanced Security, Snyk, Trivy, or similar
  • • Strong knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements in healthcare
