📋 Description
- • Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines aligned with FedRAMP Moderate and High compliance requirements for identity and security products deployed in Azure Government Cloud.
- • Architect and manage Azure Government Cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Terragrunt, ensuring infrastructure-as-code practices meet federal security and audit standards.
- • Operate and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters with Istio service mesh, Zero Trust networking models, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), and Privileged Identity Management (PIM) configurations.
- • Enforce FedRAMP-aligned logging, audit trail, and data indexing practices using OpenSearch to support continuous monitoring and compliance reporting.
- • Implement and maintain observability systems including Open Telemetry, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, and Grafana to ensure SLAs and SLOs are met across production environments.
- • Participate in on-call rotation for production systems, responding to incidents, conducting post-mortems, and driving improvements to system reliability and resilience.
- • Collaborate directly with Security and Compliance teams to address Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) items, prepare for annual FedRAMP assessments, and sustain continuous monitoring requirements.
- • Engage with federal customers and third-party auditors to provide technical documentation, demonstrate compliance controls, and support authorization processes.
- • Research, evaluate, and recommend emerging technologies and tools that are eligible for use within FedRAMP-authorized environments.
- • Automate operational tasks using Bash, Python, or Go scripts to reduce manual toil and improve consistency across FedRAMP-boundary deployments.
- • Manage Helm charts and Argo CD for GitOps-based application deployments, ensuring version control, rollback capabilities, and auditability across environments.
- • Tune and optimize Azure API Management, Logic Apps, and Cosmos DB performance in regulated SaaS environments to meet federal performance and security benchmarks.
- • Maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, workflows, compliance controls, and incident response procedures in alignment with NIST 800-53 and FedRAMP guidelines.
- • Work within a hybrid model requiring periodic onsite presence at approved locations: Hoboken, NJ; Phoenix, AZ; Washington, D.C.; or Dallas, TX.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of DevOps or SRE experience
- • U.S. citizenship
- • Prior experience working in FedRAMP Moderate or High environments
- • Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
- • Strong hands-on experience with Terraform/Terragrunt, AKS, Helm, Istio, and Argo CD
- • Deep understanding of FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and federal security controls
