📋 Description
- • Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines aligned with FedRAMP Moderate or High compliance requirements for identity and security products deployed in Azure Government Cloud.
- • Architect and manage Azure Government Cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Terragrunt, ensuring infrastructure-as-code practices meet federal security and audit standards.
- • Operate and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters with Istio service mesh, Zero Trust networking models, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), and Privileged Identity Management (PIM)/Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
- • Ensure compliance with FedRAMP controls by maintaining automated logging, audit trail generation, and data indexing using OpenSearch, and by documenting all operational procedures.
- • Implement and monitor observability systems including Open Telemetry, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, and Grafana to enforce SLAs, SLOs, and system reliability standards.
- • Participate in on-call rotation for production environments, responding to incidents, conducting post-mortems, and driving improvements to prevent recurrence.
- • Collaborate directly with Security and Compliance teams to address Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) items, prepare for annual FedRAMP assessments, and support continuous monitoring activities.
- • Engage with federal customers and third-party auditors to provide technical clarification on infrastructure configurations, security controls, and compliance evidence.
- • Research and evaluate emerging technologies for potential adoption within FedRAMP-authorized environments, ensuring alignment with federal security frameworks like NIST 800-53.
- • Automate operational tasks using Bash, Python, or Go scripts to reduce manual effort and improve consistency across FedRAMP-boundary deployments.
- • Manage Helm charts and Argo CD for GitOps-based application deployments, ensuring version control, rollback capabilities, and auditability of all changes.
- • Tune and optimize Azure API Management, Logic Apps, and Cosmos DB performance in regulated SaaS environments to meet federal performance and scalability requirements.
- • Maintain strict separation of duties and access controls in accordance with federal cybersecurity standards across development, staging, and production environments.
- • Document all infrastructure, automation workflows, and compliance controls to support internal audits and external FedRAMP authorization processes.
- • Work within a hybrid model, splitting time between onsite work at designated office locations (Phoenix, AZ; Washington, D.C.; Hoboken, NJ; Dallas, TX) and remote work as defined by company policy.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of DevOps or SRE experience
- • U.S. citizenship
- • Prior experience working in FedRAMP Moderate or High environments
- • Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
- • Strong hands-on experience with Terraform/Terragrunt, AKS, Helm, Istio, Argo CD, and Azure DevOps
- • Deep understanding of FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and federal security controls
