📋 Description
- • Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines aligned with FedRAMP Moderate or High compliance requirements for identity and security products deployed in Azure Government Cloud.
- • Architect and manage Azure Government Cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Terragrunt, ensuring infrastructure-as-code practices meet federal security standards.
- • Operate and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters with Istio service mesh, WAF configurations, and Zero Trust security models including PIM and RBAC enforcement.
- • Ensure compliance with FedRAMP controls through automated logging, audit trail management, and data indexing using OpenSearch, adhering to federal documentation and reporting standards.
- • Implement and monitor observability systems using Open Telemetry, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, and Grafana to maintain SLAs, SLOs, and system reliability targets.
- • Participate in on-call rotation to support production environments, respond to incidents, and lead post-incident analysis to improve system resilience and compliance posture.
- • Collaborate with Security and Compliance teams to address Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) items, prepare for annual FedRAMP assessments, and sustain continuous monitoring requirements.
- • Engage directly with federal customers and auditors to explain technical architectures, provide compliance evidence, and evaluate emerging technologies for FedRAMP adoption.
- • Automate operational tasks using Bash, Python, or Go scripts to reduce manual effort and enforce consistency across FedRAMP-bound environments.
- • Integrate and manage Azure DevOps pipelines, Helm charts, and Argo CD for GitOps-driven deployment workflows within restricted federal cloud boundaries.
- • Maintain strict separation of duties and access controls in alignment with NIST 800-53 and other federal security frameworks.
- • Support the scaling of SaaS platforms in highly regulated environments while ensuring performance, availability, and auditability meet federal mandates.
- • Stay current with evolving FedRAMP guidance, Azure Government capabilities, and cybersecurity best practices to continuously improve infrastructure security and compliance.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of DevOps/SRE experience
- • U.S. citizenship
- • Prior experience working in FedRAMP Moderate or High environments
- • Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
- • Strong understanding of FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and federal security controls
- • Hands-on experience with Terraform/Terragrunt, AKS, Helm, Istio, Argo CD, and Azure DevOps
