- • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing North American advertising sales team to drive revenue growth and foster professional development
- • Own and grow KAYAK’s North American advertising revenue by setting ambitious targets and ensuring team delivery against them
- • Build and sustain trust-based relationships with advertising partners, agencies, and travel brands to expand business and retain key accounts
- • Collaborate with product, marketing, and commercial partnerships teams to design data-informed advertising solutions that meet partner needs and market demands
- • Analyze performance data and market insights to identify growth opportunities, address performance gaps, and communicate results clearly to senior leadership and external partners
- • Represent KAYAK at industry events, partner meetings, and business reviews as the primary ambassador for KAYAK’s advertising offerings
- • Align ad sales strategy with the broader NORAM commercial team’s objectives to ensure cohesive regional execution
- • Drive innovation in advertising products by translating partner feedback and market trends into actionable product and strategy recommendations
- • Maintain a collaborative, inclusive team culture that reflects KAYAK’s values and supports the wellbeing and growth of team members
- • Commute to the Norwalk, CT office three times per week to facilitate in-person collaboration and team leadership
- • Work cross-functionally across departments to integrate advertising sales efforts with overall business strategy and customer success initiatives
- • Use data to tell compelling stories that influence internal decision-making and strengthen partner confidence in KAYAK’s advertising platform
- • Stay current on digital advertising ecosystem trends, including evolving technologies, buyer behaviors, and competitive dynamics in travel and media
- • Foster a people-first leadership approach focused on team development, psychological safety, and long-term career growth
🎯 Requirements
- • Demonstrated experience in digital advertising sales, including leading and developing a sales team toward shared revenue goals
- • Strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem and evolving industry trends
- • A track record of building and growing advertiser or agency relationships, ideally in a travel, media, or technology environment
- • The ability to use data to understand performance, identify opportunities, and tell a clear story to partners and internal stakeholders
- • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with comfort engaging both external partners and internal cross-functional collaborators
- • Experience working in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift and cross-team collaboration is essential
