- • Develop and execute a strategic plan to deploy and scale distributed computing systems that run AI at the edge in support of critical national security missions, directly to U.S. Government and international industry partners.
- • Design and lead complex program capture strategies to secure funding and win contracts for emerging edge infrastructure technologies.
- • Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and manufacturing teams to align customer requirements with technical solutions for tactical edge compute systems.
- • Lead hands-on proposal development, market analysis, and strategic planning activities to drive business growth in the defense and allied security sectors.
- • Build and maintain strong partnerships with hyperscale cloud service providers and frontier AI providers to enable cloud access for disadvantaged users in contested environments.
- • Translate operational feedback from live force exercises and direct engagement with requirements owners, capability portfolio managers, and program offices into actionable long-term business opportunities.
- • Articulate the key technical characteristics of distributed systems and edge infrastructure to government stakeholders, including Department of Defense and allied military entities.
- • Drive market penetration and expansion of edge compute capabilities across multiple use cases including AI, data ingestion, and application hosting in tactical environments.
- • Maintain deep awareness of current demand signals and emerging capabilities in the edge computing space to inform strategic positioning and product development.
- • Ensure full alignment with U.S. Department of War acquisition processes, government contracting regulations, and capability transition pathways.
- • Operate effectively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment requiring cross-functional coordination and rapid decision-making.
- • Travel up to 50% to support customer engagements, field demonstrations, and strategic meetings across the U.S. and internationally.
🎯 Requirements
- • 15 years of experience in selling and scaling distributed systems to both public and commercial customers in the tactical computing space
- • Prior experience bringing tactical edge compute capabilities to market across use cases such as AI, data ingestion, and application hosting
- • Deep understanding of U.S. Department of War acquisition processes, government contracting, and capability transition pathways
- • Proven track record in leading capture efforts and securing programmatic funding for emerging technologies
- • Currently possess and be able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
- • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%
