You will be at the forefront of building, maintaining, and scaling the sophisticated technology infrastructure that underpins our mission.
- • This position demands a leader who can drive consistent, high-quality engineering delivery across the entire Senior Living domain. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all projects are meticulously planned, adequately resourced, and executed with a high degree of predictability and unwavering excellence. You will be a key partner to Product Management, Technical Program Management (TPM), Architecture, and essential business stakeholders, fostering alignment on priorities, desired outcomes, and realistic timelines, all while ensuring the engineering teams operate with maximum effectiveness and efficiency.
- • As a Senior Director, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our technology. This includes leading and mentoring Engineering Directors, Senior Managers, and their respective teams. You will champion structured planning and execution processes, guaranteeing the predictable delivery of roadmap commitments. A core part of your role will involve translating complex business and product initiatives into clear, actionable engineering plans, complete with defined ownership and measurable milestones. You will establish and refine effective operating rhythms, planning cadences, and robust performance tracking mechanisms to ensure continuous alignment and progress.
- • You will be responsible for defining, monitoring, and reporting on key engineering metrics. These metrics will focus on critical areas such as delivery predictability, software quality, system stability, and overall operational efficiency. This data-driven approach will inform strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement. Furthermore, you will provide oversight for a significant cross-functional Salesforce engineering team. Your commitment to quality will permeate all aspects of the engineering lifecycle.
- • Cross-functional partnership is paramount. You will work hand-in-hand with Product and TPM leaders to achieve tight alignment on scope, sequencing of work, and delivery timelines. Your ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Data stakeholders will be essential to ensure our technology solutions directly contribute to measurable business outcomes. You will be adept at communicating scope, identifying and articulating tradeoffs, outlining timelines, and clearly managing risks to both technical and non-technical audiences. Your input will be vital in broader product and engineering planning processes, ensuring optimal capacity allocation and strategic alignment.
- • You will provide comprehensive operational and technical oversight for the Senior Living platforms. This includes the CRM-integrated systems, lead management tools, and our vital web properties. Ensuring strong adherence to standards for quality, scalability, security, and maintainability will be a key focus. You will collaborate closely with Architecture and Infrastructure teams to ensure alignment on technical standards, best practices, and the adoption of shared frameworks. A forward-thinking element of your role will be promoting the disciplined use of AI-assisted development tools to boost engineering velocity while rigorously maintaining high quality.
- • Cultivating talent and fostering a positive engineering culture are central to this position. You will develop and coach engineering leaders, instilling a strong sense of accountability, engagement, and a commitment to professional growth. You will actively build and nurture a culture grounded in clarity, ownership, measurable outcomes, and a dedication to continuous improvement.
