  • • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DSP Engineer to join our growing team in Bucharest, Romania. This pivotal role will involve the design, implementation, and optimization of high-performance, real-time signal processing software across a diverse array of hardware architectures. You will be instrumental in translating complex signal processing concepts into robust, production-grade embedded applications.
  • • Your responsibilities will span the entire development lifecycle, from initial algorithm design and refinement to final deployment on embedded systems. You will work intimately with our Algorithm team to meticulously define and validate DSP algorithms, ensuring numerical accuracy and facilitating the critical transition from floating-point to fixed-point representations. This collaborative effort is essential for optimizing performance and resource utilization on resource-constrained hardware.
  • • A core aspect of this role involves developing and optimizing performance-critical kernels. You will leverage chip-specific intrinsics, advanced vector operations, and sophisticated low-level optimization techniques to extract maximum performance from various processors. This includes in-depth analysis of compiler output, meticulous assembly code review, and profiling-driven tuning to achieve optimal execution.
  • • You will be responsible for architecting and building complete DSP processing pipelines and applications. This will involve navigating the complexities of multi-processor and multi-core environments, ensuring seamless operation within real-time embedded systems. A significant focus will be placed on optimizing system-level performance, encompassing critical areas such as compute scheduling, efficient memory bandwidth utilization, stringent latency budgets, and adherence to real-time constraints.
  • • Debugging and root-cause analysis will be a crucial part of your daily work. You will tackle challenging issues related to performance bottlenecks, numerical stability, and real-time correctness, often requiring you to investigate across hardware and software boundaries. Your ability to systematically diagnose and resolve these complex problems will be vital to the success of our projects.
  • • Cross-functional collaboration is paramount. You will work closely with Algorithm, Architecture, Silicon, Verification, and Embedded Software teams. This close partnership ensures the correct integration of DSP components into the broader system and guarantees that we achieve the best possible overall system performance. Your insights will be invaluable in shaping the direction of our hardware and software co-design efforts.
  • • This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge Physical AI technologies. You will gain exposure to a wide range of hardware, from ARM-based platforms to VLIW processors and specialized DSP and vector processors, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in real-time signal processing.
