- • In this advanced administrative and business services role, your day-to-day responsibilities will be multifaceted. You will be tasked with implementing and maintaining eligibility for benefits, encompassing automated, direct connect, and manual data processes. A significant part of your role will involve interacting with both internal partners across various departments and external clients or vendors, fostering strong working relationships to ensure smooth operations. You will be responsible for generating comprehensive reports to meticulously identify and resolve any discrepancies in eligibility data, proactively seeking out and implementing process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Furthermore, you may be required to negotiate and resolve complex eligibility issues directly with clients, demonstrating strong problem-solving and communication skills. Providing technical support for electronic eligibility processing will also be a key function, ensuring that data is handled correctly and efficiently. A critical aspect of your role is to ensure that customer data is installed accurately and in a timely manner, preventing delays in patient care. You may also collaborate with client formats and internal Systems teams to resolve errors and address technical challenges, requiring a keen eye for detail and a systematic approach to problem-solving. Your expertise will be called upon to analyze customized client formats and potentially work with Systems to design new formats, contributing to the evolution of our data management practices. You will be expected to provide recommendations aimed at decreasing errors and improving the overall quality of our eligibility data. Your role will involve completing day-to-day Senior Eligibility tasks independently, leveraging your thorough technical knowledge of manual and automated eligibility processes, reporting tools, and various systems. Tasks will require forward planning and the anticipation of potential needs or issues, demonstrating a proactive and strategic mindset. You will also be responsible for resolving non-routine issues that are escalated from junior team members, acting as a mentor and subject matter expert. To support broader team functionality and ensure seamless patient care, cross-training in multiple systems and business areas of Patient Access is a mandatory requirement, enabling you to contribute to various functions and ensure continuity of care for patients with complex needs.
