- • Senior Elixir Engineer role focused on building and scaling core services for Vic.ai's autonomous finance platform, leveraging AI and machine learning to automate accounts payable workflows and transform finance operations.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend services using Elixir and Phoenix, developing highly available APIs and distributed systems, optimizing data pipelines and background job processing, collaborating with AI and Data Science teams, improving system observability and reliability, participating in architectural discussions, establishing engineering best practices, mentoring engineers, and leveraging AI-assisted development tools.

🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- • Strong production experience with Elixir and the Phoenix framework
- • Experience building and operating scalable backend services and APIs
- • Strong understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and asynchronous processing
- • Experience with PostgreSQL and relational database design
- • Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing strategies
