- • The role is critical to advancing NETGEAR’s SaaS offerings, ensuring seamless integration across multi-vendor network devices and empowering IT teams and field technicians with real-time visibility and control, ultimately driving customer satisfaction and operational efficiency in complex enterprise environments.
- • Design and develop scalable web applications for network device management, monitoring, and configuration using modern frontend frameworks like React.js or Angular with TypeScript, ensuring high performance and responsiveness under heavy data loads.
- • Build responsive, interactive dashboards that visualize network topology, device status, performance metrics, and alerting systems in real time, leveraging D3.js for dynamic network maps and WebSocket for live updates.
- • Develop robust APIs and interfaces to integrate with diverse network hardware (switches, routers, access points) from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, and Ubiquiti, supporting protocols including SNMP, SSH, Telnet, and NETCONF for reliable device communication.
- • Create intuitive mobile applications for field technicians to remotely configure, troubleshoot, and manage network devices, enabling faster issue resolution and reducing on-site visit requirements.
- • Implement real-time network performance monitoring systems with SNMP integration and telemetry data visualization, utilizing time-series databases like InfluxDB or TimescaleDB to store and analyze metrics efficiently.
- • Develop configuration management tools for bulk device operations, including firmware updates, policy deployment, and configuration templating, ensuring consistency and reducing human error across large-scale deployments.
- • Design and implement intelligent alerting and notification systems that detect network anomalies and events using machine learning-informed thresholds and contextual awareness to reduce alert fatigue.
- • Contribute to the architecture of a secure, scalable multi-tenant SaaS platform, ensuring data isolation, role-based access control, and compliance with enterprise security standards.
- • Create RESTful APIs for third-party integrations and customer automation workflows, enabling seamless connectivity with ITSM, SIEM, and other enterprise systems.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, UX/UI, QA, and DevOps to translate requirements into technical solutions, participate in code reviews, and mentor junior engineers.
- • Stay current with emerging networking technologies, WiFi standards (802.11ax/ac), cloud networking services, and infrastructure-as-code practices to continuously improve platform capabilities.
