- • As a Senior Engineering Manager at Meetic, a Match Group company, you will lead engineering teams responsible for designing, building, and scaling dating platforms used across 20+ countries and 18 languages, directly impacting how millions of people form meaningful relationships.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing and mentoring engineering leads and individual contributors, driving technical strategy and execution, ensuring high-quality delivery of features across web and mobile platforms, and fostering collaboration with product, design, and data teams to align engineering efforts with business goals.
- • You will be part of a diverse, innovative team at the forefront of online dating innovation, working within Match Group’s global ecosystem that includes brands like Meetic, Match, OkCupid, and Plenty Of Fish, with a strong emphasis on impactful, user-centric technology.
- • In this role, you will grow as a technical leader by shaping engineering culture, improving team velocity and reliability, gaining exposure to large-scale international systems, and contributing to the evolution of dating experiences that serve diverse user segments across Europe and beyond.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience managing engineering teams at scale, including hiring, performance management, and technical mentorship.
- • Strong background in software engineering with hands-on experience in full-stack or backend systems, preferably in consumer-facing web or mobile applications.
- • Demonstrated ability to drive technical strategy, prioritize roadmap execution, and deliver high-impact features in fast-paced, data-informed environments.
- • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working closely with product, design, and analytics teams to translate business goals into technical outcomes.
