- • As the Senior Engineering Manager for Core Infrastructure, you will spearhead UJET’s foundational cloud services, playing a pivotal role in shaping the backbone of our cloud-native CCaaS platform. This leadership position involves driving the strategic vision and execution for critical infrastructure components, including Google Cloud Platform (GCP) organizations and folders, sophisticated networking solutions, compute resources, standardized base images, robust Terraform frameworks, and efficient upgrade processes.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to architect, build, and maintain highly scalable and reliable infrastructure that serves as the bedrock for all engineering teams. The impact of your work will be far-reaching, directly influencing the performance and stability of a platform that serves millions of users worldwide. You will be instrumental in ensuring that our infrastructure can support UJET's ambitious growth and innovation objectives.
- • You will lead and nurture the Core Infrastructure team, establishing a clear vision, setting strategic priorities, and overseeing the execution of initiatives related to foundational cloud services. This includes fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- • You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of shared cloud primitives. This encompasses the design, deployment, and ongoing operation of GCP organizations and folders, intricate networking configurations, load balancing strategies, compute resource management, the development and maintenance of standardized base images, the implementation and evolution of Terraform frameworks, and the management of system upgrades.
- • A key aspect of your role will be to define, implement, and enforce best practices across the entire cloud platform. These best practices will focus on ensuring scalability, fortifying security, enhancing observability, and promoting maintainability, thereby guaranteeing the long-term health and efficiency of our infrastructure.
- • You will collaborate closely with product management and various engineering teams to facilitate development and deployment workflows that are not only fast and agile but also exceptionally safe and reliable. This cross-functional partnership is crucial for aligning infrastructure capabilities with product roadmaps and engineering needs.
- • Drive a culture of relentless continuous improvement within the team and across the infrastructure domain. This involves identifying opportunities for enhancing processes, automating repetitive tasks, and proactively improving the overall reliability of our cloud infrastructure.

🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- • Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including organization/folder structure, networking, compute, load balancing, and IAM.
- • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform.
- • Proven track record of designing, deploying, and operating scalable and reliable cloud systems.
- • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and guide technical teams.
- • Ability to balance strategic thinking with a deep, hands-on technical understanding of cloud infrastructure.
