- • Lead the Corporate Engineering team at Grafana Labs to optimize IT operations and drive internal AI-native strategy, enabling employees to own their workflows through automation and platform development.
- • Manage corporate systems including IT operations, helpdesk, employee device lifecycles, security initiatives, and vendor relationships while ensuring security and compliance are embedded as guardrails in daily workflows.
- • Join a remote-first, open-source driven company with over 20M global users of Grafana, serving clients like Bloomberg, JPMorgan Chase, and eBay, where transparency, autonomy, and trust fuel innovation.
- • Develop leadership and technical expertise in scaling corporate systems in the AI age, mentoring teams, contributing to design reviews, and participating in on-call rotations while shaping internal platforms that can be open-sourced for the broader community.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience running a software engineering operations team with a strong engineering background, capable of engaging in technical decisions and knowledgeable in at least one cloud provider and Kubernetes.
- • Deep hands-on experience managing and automating corporate IT systems including OS management (Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android), SSO (Okta, 1Password), productivity tools (Google Workspace, Office), MDM (Jamf, Intune), EDR, DLP, and SaaS platforms (Salesforce, Zendesk).
- • Approach IT and corporate security with a DevOps mindset—favoring enablement, automation, and guardrails over restrictive gates—and have experience building internal platforms for other teams.
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences, comfortable influencing autonomous engineering teams.
- • Willingness to work Eastern-time oriented hours to maximize overlap with EMEA peers in a fully remote, global organization.
