- • Lead the Corporate Engineering team at Grafana Labs to optimize IT operations and drive internal AI-native strategy, enabling employees to own their workflows through automation and platform development.
- • Manage corporate systems including employee device lifecycles, helpdesk queues, security initiatives, SaaS vendor relationships, and internal tooling development while ensuring visibility and continuous improvement of processes.
- • Partner with platform, business application, and security teams within the Foundations department to deliver scalable, secure, and innovative internal platforms that support a global, remote-first, cloud-native organization.
- • Mentor and coach team members through regular 1:1s, feedback, and hands-on participation in on-call rotations and design reviews to foster motivation, engagement, and technical excellence.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience running a software engineering operations team with a strong engineering background capable of technical decision-making and influencing teams.
- • Deep hands-on experience managing and automating corporate IT systems (Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android), SSO (Okta, 1Password), productivity tools (Google Workspace, Office), MDM (Jamf, Intune), EDR, DLP, and corporate SaaS platforms (Salesforce, Zendesk).
- • DevOps mindset toward IT and corporate security—favoring enablement, automation, and guardrails over restrictive gates and approval bottlenecks.
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences while working within autonomous engineering teams.
- • Willingness to work Eastern-time oriented hours to maximize overlap with EMEA peers in a global remote setting.
