- • Lead the Corporate Engineering team at Grafana Labs to optimize IT operations and drive internal AI-native strategy, enabling employees to own their workflows through automation and platform development.
- • Manage corporate systems including IT operations, helpdesk, employee device lifecycles, security initiatives, and vendor relationships while ensuring security and compliance are embedded as guardrails in daily workflows.
- • Join a remote-first, open-source powerhouse with over 20M global users of Grafana, supporting 3,000+ companies including Bloomberg, JPMorgan Chase, and eBay with observability solutions built on Mimir, Loki, and Tempo.
- • Develop leadership skills in influencing technical decisions, mentoring engineers, and shaping enterprise AI strategy while contributing to open-source projects and participating in on-call rotations and cross-team collaboration within the Foundations department.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience running a software engineering operations team with strong engineering background and ability to engage in technical discussions and drive team-led technical decisions.
- • Deep hands-on experience managing and automating corporate IT systems including OS (Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android), SSO (Okta, 1Password), productivity tools (Google Workspace, Office), MDM (Jamf, Intune), EDR, DLP, and SaaS platforms (Salesforce, Zendesk, AI providers).
- • DevOps-minded approach to IT and corporate security, favoring enablement, automation, and guardrails over restrictive gates, with experience building internal platforms for other teams.
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences, comfortable influencing autonomous engineering teams.
- • Ability to work Eastern-time oriented hours to maximize overlap with EMEA peers in a fully remote, global organization.
