- • Senior Engineering Manager role in WEX Corporate Payments Engineering organization, leading development of next-generation products including UIs, APIs, webhooks, and data streams.
- • Develop, drive, and execute long-term vision and strategy for Corporate Payments cross-cutting and core services; define and implement architectural roadmap aligned with business objectives and industry best practices.
- • Foster innovation, collaboration, empowerment, and continuous learning; challenge status quo to reduce time-to-market using efficient engineering methods.
- • Lead, manage, and grow high-performance engineering teams through hiring, coaching, promoting, and retaining top talent; work with product and commercial partners to prioritize customer requirements.
- • Drive planning, execution, and auditing of work streams via monthly, weekly, and quarterly mechanisms; establish clear engineering roadmap and maintain career growth plans with regular feedback.
- • Collaborate across teams to reuse development practices and components, reducing duplication and increasing efficiency.

🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of software engineering experience with 4+ years of engineering management experience.
- • Expertise in rapid development and deployment of services using cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- • Hands-on experience with AI-native engineering tools such as Claude or Cursor.
- • Strong understanding of security and compliance requirements in cloud and data environments.
- • Excellent leadership, team-building, and dynamic decision-making skills.
- • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with excellent verbal and written communication.
