- • Lead the Customer Portal engineering team to build and maintain a self-serve platform used by thousands of SaaS and enterprise customers for identity verification services.
- • Set strategic direction, anticipate scaling challenges, and partner with product, design, and analytics to deliver customer-centric software that solves real pain points.
- • Foster team growth through mentorship, delegation, and active involvement in hiring to build a diverse, psychologically safe, and high-performing team.
- • Drive operational excellence by maintaining sources of truth, leveraging tools like Jira, and collaborating with engineering leaders to shape technical and product vision.
- • Contribute to Veriff’s mission of protecting honest people online by enabling secure, scalable identity verification solutions in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven track record of leading an engineering team with experience in hiring and team building.
- • Previous experience as a software engineer; familiarity with Python and/or TypeScript is a bonus.
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for a distributed team.
- • Passion for fostering strong engineering practices, culture, and processes.
- • Strong emotional intelligence and people leadership skills to create a psychologically safe environment.
